No unfortunately you can only split in a straight line.

You can use the subtract area option on the pet palette but that is only good if you want to delete part of the slab - not so good for splitting.
Sometimes I will duplicate the slab and delete the oposite areas from each slab.

You could use this to delete a thin area along the edges you want but you would still need to adjust the edges of one of the slabs to bring them back into contact.

Another option is to show only the slab layer with a line along the edge you want to cut.
Then magic wand and 'flood fill' an new slab on each side then delete the original slab.

<T>Hi there,

Is there a way to split or cut a slab (and other elements) in a non linear form (ie. using the polygon method to draw the split line) ??

For example, see attached screenshot - I want to split the slab along the dashed red line.

Thanks</T>
