What's for the Main Grid's steps in Grids & Background...

Please who can tell me what's for the Main Grid's steps in Grids & Background window in Archicad???

I know Autocad & I want to know Archicad too. I've just started learning, but there are some questions that I can't find answers... so I need your help ))

In the Help files see:
User Interface Reference > Dialog Boxes > Grids & Background Dialog Box

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I tried to find answer there but my Archicad's help doesn't work. There's a problem with it...

Hermine,

The grids are for displaying infinite grid as a background. You can snap to it. It's very helpful if you are working on a modular building or as a reference during modeling. You can quickly turn it on and off.

You can use the online version (only ENG and GER languages): http://www.graphisoft.com/support/OnlineHelp/AC16.html
