<T>Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to intersect two simple concrete beams with a third one made with a complex profile that has a concrete core (with the same intersection priority as the other two beams) and a white plaster finish (with intersection priority set to 0).
The problem is that the simple beams can't intersect the white plaster finish of the third one, even when when their reference lines cleanly intersect.
I'm attaching two images with partial structure displays set to entire structure and core only so that you can understand what i'm asking.
Can someone please hep me with this one?

Thanks in advance</T>

I don't think the individual fill priorities work for a beam - only for a wall.
With the beam you only have the overall priority strength in the beam properties.
Hi Barry,

Then what's the point of having skin priorities in beams? It doesn't make much sense that a beam core can't intersect another's finish skin, don't you think?

Thank you very much for the quick reply!

I agree.
But only walls have the option to "Enable skin priorities".
Maybe sometime in the future it will be implemented for beams and slabs.
Might be worth making a wish for it to see what others think.
Maybe this skin priority thing available for Walls is Floor Plan oriented.
You do not see a Beam cut on the Floor Plan so that may be a reason why this option is not available there.
But I understand that this could be useful.

Hi Laszlo,

More so if you usually have to produce core only (concrete and masonry) drawings as we do.
Let's hope this one can be addressed in a future release.

Thank you all,
Cheers
