topic Roof plan in Modeling

<T>Newbie here. I'm working on a one story residential project, and I'm having a hard time creating a simple roof plan. Model is entirely built. I just want set a plan view looking down on the roofs below. I'd also need to see skylights, and exterior walls (where parapets exist, put want the walls hidden by the roof where they are covered)

When I set up a new story above using story settings, I get a blank view. I've messed around with layers, floor plan cut settings to no avail.

Help would be greatly appreciated.</T>

Within the roof settings set the "Show on Stories" to "Home and one storey up" if you have placed them on the ground floor storey, or, what I usually do, place the roof on the storey above and set to show on "Home and one storey below".
