<T>Hello,

Help! New user here.. Please look at these 2 jpegs.. I can only get the entry door to show as it should with a bold Marquee applied on the plan... Without the Marquee it is white. The opening must be some entity type the Marquee forces to show.. The opening is white in plan view also..

Thanks</T>

the entry is probably on the wrong storey

look thru' all the storeys to find it and cut/paste to the correct storey (and then correct it's elevation height which will have changed)
Whew. <E>😉</E> (Being a believer - most of the time - that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything, I was wondering about that wall!)

Very nice modeling by the way.

I had something similar happen with a client's model... all doors showed up as flat slabs (solid brown in his case), even though they had glass and raised panels, unless the wall they were in was selected, or a marquee was used. This was a few 100 issues ago, so I can't really remember how I resolved it. I may have just alt-clicked it to syringe the settings, deleted the door, and then placed it again. But, I have a dim memory that he was using the "Classic" doors in the 8.1 library, and that switching to the updated doors fixed the problem.

Sorry this wasn't much help, but at least I can confirm that I have seen this behavior before.
I had that situations to. But it showed up when in 3d window I selected door/window and just opened and closed preferences window. It happened with my laptop (powered with Gforce FX GO). It was not happening with other computers. I think it might be a problem with drivers (OpenGL support?)

Turns out it's the 3rd Library part that has a fill setting causing it.. So I replaced it with another part that doesn't have the problem. Why the Marquee overides the fill is anyones guess.. Thanks Bill and Karl (Karl it's my first Model, thanks for the kind words)
