Excellent... that did the trick. I would have never realized it, thanks!

composites display differently in different section views

<T>I have my 'new' walls built with a composite where the core is shaded; 'Old' walls are empty.

In some of my sections, all walls show empty. In others everything displays correctly (new walls shaded, old walls empty). All these views have the same view settings, but I must be missing something.

However when I port the views over to a layout, everything looks fine — walls are shaded same as in plan. I just can't get it to look right in the working view.

Any ideas? I'm using AC15, newest build #3632.</T>

Have you checked the Trace & reference settings? There is an option to make fills transparent, so I guess you may have this switched on in one viewpoint and off for the rest.
