Can't change the pen number on the Column tool

For some reason the option to change the pen number on the core line pen is greyed out. I have the latest update and library. What's going on?

I'm using a square column with contrained proportions and no veneer.

As you do not have a separate core and veneer, the program uses just the veneer pens for the column.

Yes, but HOW can I change this? I've tried changing everything and NOTHING changes my thick outline!

You know, I think that this is a NEW bug that Graphisoft just introduced with their latest Hotfix! And of course one can NEVER get through to their technical support (despite having Subscription Plus). Extremely annoying!!!!!

You could help us to help you
- by giving us a screenshot of your settings.
-putting your AC version and operating system in your signature

there has been a bug as discussed here
It seems to be back this morning when I just checked it.
