<T>I have already completed a project using the renovation filter. Is there a way to convert the project so the 'new' becomes existing so i can easily use this project file for the new works?

thanks in advance</T>

Not project-wide but you can set up a Reno Filter that only displays things that are currently "New", select and change to "Existing"

or

Use Find and Select to select all items with "New" Renovation Status, change to "existing".
