ArchiCAD hotfix error! HELP!

<T>Went to update my ArchiCAD 9 installation to latest version (build 1965), and when I went to open the program, I got this message:

The application "ArchiCAD" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "T<ArchiCAD><ArchiCAD><ElementManagerLib><IsInMarki__Q23EDB11GeneralElemCFPC7SelTypes>"

Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I have rebooted with no luck.

I'm on a PowerMac G5 running OS 10.3.7. Any input would be appreciated.</T>

hey, ben.

Thanks for the link, but I'm still having issues. The strange part is that PlotMaker works fine, showing an updated build number. When I look at the contents of the ArchiCAD app, I get "Version: 9.0.0 v1 USA (7741 / 1812)". But the app won't open. I have multiple apps in the ArchiCAD folder (same with PlotMaker) and have tried to remove one and then the other with no luck. Even if I rename the folder, the updater says I'm already current. Here is a screenshot of my actual error message. I don't want to reinstall 1812...

ben,
You have just given him the best advise.

Erik,
As ben said you are in for a reinstall, unfortunately there is now way to fix your problem other than to do a reinstall .

Cheers.
I always think clearing the preferences is a good idea on a reinstall. Instructions are here: <LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... 9740#29740">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=29740#29740</LINK_TEXT>

By the way, if you have set up a Work Environment for yourself, save your Work Environment folder before uninstalling.
Ah, well, so be it then. Thanks for the responses, but GS support has confirmed the worst...it's a re-install. They also questioned whether I had multiple copies of the app in my AC9 folder (I received a phone message early this AM, I'm still waiting for a call back). The only thing I care about is not having to reset all my work environment settings. Are these all located in the "_backup.v1\Defaults" folder? Just want to save some time.

Thanks, again, for the responses.

Yeeeeeeee, this hotfix - fixed some older bugs but generated some news. For example in polish version including bug in meander, other problem is animation with lightsworks engine, when placed some liblary parts with alpha chanell. All bugs are in polish version of these paths.

Best Regards
