It's equivalent to floor to floor height and so is absolute not relative which is why it won't accept a negative value. Enter a positive 6' and it will work. You can also enter the -6' as the story elevation on the left. I am picking up a project where someone else left off.<BR /> I want to create a foundation level that is 6' tall and -6' below level 0 - the main level.<BR /> when i go to story settings i see that the prior draftsman created a foundation level but their is no height for that level. Basically the foundation level is at 0'-0" same as the main level. When i try to enter -6' as my height to next level it beeps at me and goes back to 0. I cant figure out why i can not give the foundation level a height. There are objects drawn on this level I can see them in the 3d window but when I open the plan view of the foundation nothing is there.
