      <title>Archicad 17 pln to Archicad 16</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Hello all, just a quick question I would like to know if it is possible to somehow open my archicad 17 .pln on my archicad 16 computer. I dont have 17 as im on school holidays and my school had 17. I have 16 at home and really need to get started with my work.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Yes but you need 17 to open the file first and then 'Save As' a version 16 file.&lt;BR /&gt;
As a student you can go to the MyArchicad link at the top of this forum and download the student version for 17 (I am assuming you are using the student version of 16).&lt;BR /&gt;
Then you will have the same version as your school and there won't be any problems (again assuming you are all using the student version).&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>I have download Archicad 17 but there is only the 64 Bit, my computer only runs a 32 bit. So not sure what I should do right now. Any ideas?</description>

      <description>17 only runs on 64bit machines.&lt;BR /&gt;
There is no 32bit version - 16 was the last compatible with 32bit.&lt;BR /&gt;

I don't have the student version of the software but I think it will be forced to run in student mode when I open your file.&lt;BR /&gt;
