how can i fake an opening on plan when using SEO?

hi,
as we know if SEO is used the plan does not reflect a cut, what are the ways one can fake it on plan?

In some cases the operator can help. A slab/roof/mesh can act as a cover fill but typically you'll still need a bit of line work. If its worth getting fancy you can save the operator as a library part and replace with same. This way you can make the plan view anything you want with just a single element to manage.

Otherwise it's fills and lines or the patch tool.

also was thinking about placing an empty door when a wall is involved.

Using the wall niche tool is good too if the opening doesn't have to go through the entire thickness of the wall.

Why not just turn the operator into a Window/Wallhole? Especially if it's repetitive through the project.
