topic morph problem in Modeling

<T>I have morph that was converted from curved beam.
now I have to elevate one end of it, but it has to have radius as that beam had.
Problem occurs when I elevate one end.
In floor plan that morph changes it's radius.
How to avoid that?</T>

here is floor plan.
as you can see morph has some deviations from circle.
It should be circle.

mzex,

I reproduced the situation and I will check with the product team to see if there is a valid reason this should happen. In the meantime I have posted below steps to get your desired result.

Best regards,

thank you.
your method works fine for me.

bus I still don't understand what is going on in my workflow.
What I did was selecting end profile plane as subelement and I elevated it.
In floor plan I got that deviation. I tried in completely new archicad file and it happened again.
I think this should be working without that deviation.

I have noticed one problem with your method.
In attachement you can see that rail created by your method does not follow inclination of the stairs - black one.
Grey one above black one is created as wall that was SEO with two roofs and after that converted to morph. I converted it to morph just to have more

I think the reason the Box Stretch method gives that deviation result that is shown on mzex's screenshot is because the box stretch determines the vertical height changes based on the distance between the two end points of the Beam (modeled by Morph) - check Nicholas' screenshot - and does not follow the curve of the element. This causes the deviation.

So basically the vertical position of each point of the Morph curve is determined by projecting the Morph space curve onto the vertical plane connection the two ends of the Morph.

Hi, Laszlo!
I think that this is not good. I want to model a simple, but custom stair railling with only a bar and I get something that is not right.
is there any override for that?
