To get your walls to show in AC9 style, ignoring the cutplane: Use single-story walls, set their Floor Plan Display to 'Symbolic Cut', and set the Show on Stories to 'Home Story Only'.

In AC10, it was called 'Own Story Only' (avoid 'Automatic').

Most conventional walls don't benefit from interaction with the cutplane, and it leads to complicated workarounds. I would rather give up multi-story walls in exchange for predictable display. IMO.

Leave the cutplane at a reasonable level; it is helpful for sloping elements.

<T>how can i change the height that floor plan cuts my objects
it is for example 1,20m (right about the middle) and it cuts my roof that is until 2.50m. how can i change that?
same thing happens with walls that disappear
in general i would like to have it as it was in v.9 where arhicad didnt decide alone for the objects in reference to the story settings and let me say which object is where.

thanks a lot</T>

go to document > floor cut plane.

read in the help menu about the options you have there, it's very useful. i'm not sureexactly what parameter needs to be changed, but the answer is there.

oh! here is sth else
when i build a roof the floor plan automatically cuts the roof in the middle because of the cut plane

there i can only change the height of the cut plane or is there anything else?

The height of the cutplane is set in Document Menu -> Floor Plan Cut Plane.

Cutplane height is saved with views, so you may have to modify the view settings. There's a button in the View Settings dialog that takes you to that FPCP dialog.

If you want a roof to ignore the cutplane, its Floor Plan Display should be "Outlines Only".

Some people choose to set their cut plane at zero to get around it too.

Cheers,
