I discovered that the 2 stair parts must be separated by the gap of min. 6cm.
Then the Stair Maker do the job.

<T>Hello everyone!
Why cant I create this stair with the tool create stair using selection ?
How can I build it ?
I even tried to split it to half to create two different stairs but even then it says that I have adjacent edges.</T>

WENDY:

The fill must have additional nodes (even along the same edge) for this to work. In the attached screen shot, the left image shows a simple rectangular fill with the error message. The right image shows two additional nodes to break the edge where the stair starts and ends.
Is it possible where you placed the walking line that it's too far away from the wall when it's making the turn to the second stair? That it thinks the walking line going though the banister and it's faulting on that?

Wendy:

andro55 has the solution, I guess the separation between the flights needs to be made explicit (rather than assuming an equal split).
I always separate the gap to half of the distance such us the walking line is always in the middle or closer to the hand rail, I think the problem is the gap! Ill try it now
Thank you
