<R>I setup a 6'x7' double door using the "D2 Metal 10" door object. After inserting a few, I went to the door settings, 'squirted' the settings into the "D1 Metal 10" door object, select 3'x6'-8" and placed one. As you can see, the hole is too big. Also note that even though I selected a standard 3'x6'-8" door, it's showing 6' by 6'-8"

I've looked through all the parameters, and I've checked to see if there is an updated library, but I can't figure this one out.</R>

I've done some more checking and it turns out that the D1 Metal 10 door always uses a 6' hole and always has the 6' by... text -- regardless of the selected size. Additionally, the D2 Metal 10 door always has a 5' hole and always has the 5' by... text, again, regardless of size.

Also If I change them to D1 Commercial Door 10 or D2 Commercial..., they display correctly, but if you go to the Commercial Door Settings section and try to change to any other group than General Settings, that entire section blanks out and you have to Cancel, then go back in to get the default group back.

Are these GDL bugs, or is my system freaking out? I restarted ArchiCAD and got the same results.

Just a thought...check your "oversize" parameters and make sure they are set to 0"
I have also seen an oversize built into some "rough opening" parameters. Check those as well.

The first few attempts to make this error happen didn't work -- the doors looked just fine -- then it started again. You can see in the graphic below that the opening is about 7" too big on each side, yet the rough opening (which cannot be change) shows the correct dimension. There are no other "over"-type parameters to tweek.

It seems like the object itself is ignoring the Rough Opening parameter. I might have to move this question over to the Library category.
