Is anyone able to help me create the staircase seen in the villa savoye, ive got the shape of the staircase made but cannot get the wall/railing that wraps around it......any help greatly appreciated....

Amazing coincidence that, earlier today our colleague Karl said to use a curved ramp as an SEO [Solid Element Operation] trimmer element for the curved incline.

You'd make the stair surrounded by wall, and SEO out the voids with roof elements and curved ramp elements.

I gave you the key term [SEO] so you can look it up in the reference guide.
But i should warn you that this is an intermediate exercise.

You'll need to learn several things:

• locating and adjusting a complex object: The curved ramp
• the procedure for SEO
• managing layers to allow the SEO operator to be invisible.

ive worked out how to make the ramp go around the wall but havent figured out angles or anything yet........SEO doesnt seem to be working with them either........ill have to work at it if i get time at the end.......still got plenty of the villa to model
