I am not completely sure that you can do that.
When you turn in the insulation many time that is only a 2D representation.
I tried all kinds of settings in the Window Settings Dialog but could not get the Insulation at the Head of the Window to turn in section.

Usually the way you can decide if Reveal setting has a 3D effect is to immediately check the Window in 3D. If the Reveal geometry is there in 3D, then it will be there in the Section, too.

I would probably create it using the Column Tool because the Column automatically cuts itself out from the Wall.
But there are other options, too:
-Create an L shaped profile and place that L shaped Column there.
-Create it using Slabs and then use SEO to cut them out from the original Walls.
-Create it using other Walls and then use SEO to cut them out from the original Walls.
There are probably more ways.

Hi Laszlo and Ticutza,

From what I recall, this was achievable in AC9 and AC10 by setting the thickness of the turned skin in the <Reveal> tab. It's a little frustrating that this (correct) behavior has been lost. In AC11, for example, I couldn't even get the turned insulation (in plan) to have a different thickness than the rest of the wall's insulation. In AC12, this seems possible by playing with the closure and reveal settings. But still no correct turning at the head (see the attached images).
I'm hopping that someone from Graphisoft reads this thread and perhaps they could fix it by the next library update release.

Thank you in advance.
Hello Ticutza and nice to meet you too!
Can you tell me the name of the special window you are referring to? I've tried a couple of them (AC12) and they show ok in the floor plan (not in section).
