T-intersection on facades

Hello all
Is there a way to get rid of the vertical line on the facade while keeping the plan intersection clean? I tried increasing priority for the facade walls but it rendered floor plan intersections incorrect.

No. It is a long standing wish. Having said no, you can overcome this annoying bug by using a wall end.

I will speak to our local GDL guru and ask him to post to the depository.

Interesting trick. Are you just using the bog standard wall end or is this something different and if so how?

No trick Erich. The 2D is just a small line for location. I turn if off in plan
after correctly placing.
After placing you can flip to either side that is required to hide offending line.
Part has been scripted by Ben Cohen. Waiting for his approval to upload.
The only thing yet to sort is to get the texture mapping looking right.
But with it set to a small length the slight irregularity in the texture is hardly noticed.

Regardless of a small inaccuracy in intersection that wall end workaround worked well for me this time (for 1:200 scale).

I'm looking forward for the scripted one.

Here is my trick.
I figured if I placed a Column in just that corner, it would do the trick and so it did.

With our Wall End there is no inaccuracy in plan view, only slight
when a detailed material is selected for the walls shown in 3D.
I will post when the scripted part is available.

Thanks Laszlo, another way to "skin a cat"
The 2D plan still needs a work around to have a clean
intersection and if the wall/walls are moved you have
another element to remember to move also.
The Wall End will automatically move with it's parent wall.

Haven't been skiing yet. Waiting for more snow. Cold enough though, -8°C here at sea level.

Thanks Geoff, but the part is nothing special, just a wall end that masks the very corner of the wall. All of about 30 lines of code.
The problem is you need to temporarily move the walls before you can apply the wall end. Because of this I have never really promoted it in the 4D Library.

I think Rod might be the only person I know that actually uses it .

Only one additional step is easy and solves all 3D woes.
Apart from this fact you may need to swap the side it is attached
to and all this is so much quicker than patches, etc.
And move the wall the wall end follows. so no 3D to fix when a wall is moved.
I use it most on renovation work when wall reference lines
are sometimes difficult to meet in all situations.
Solves all sect/room elev situations because GS has yet to fix this long standing wish.
