One thing to check is that the &lt;FONT color="blue"&gt;Cut Fill&lt;/FONT&gt; of the Stair and Slab are identical in name.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>If the Stair and the Slab have the same section fill then they will join.&lt;BR /&gt;
Maybe you did not place the Stair accurately enough.&lt;BR /&gt;
If you zoom in very closely to those areas you will see if that is the case.</description>
