    <description>Perhaps Eric Wilk's book "From CAD to Quantity Survey" would help. It's not on Amazon but is sold by most ArchiCAD dealers. It's quite thorough and manages to make fairly clear a process that is anything but.</description>

      <description>Yes it can, but it's too large a subject to cover here. Read up on the calculation functions, try it out and then post your specific questions.</description>
