This 46 minute lesson starts with the creation of a quick site model with the Mesh tool, then explores how you can set up the terrain mesh to give accurate level dimensions for both original and regraded site models, and easily do cut and fill calcs.

I'm a HUGE fan of Eric Bobrow and his live webinars. Being able to join in and have your questions answered by Eric is invaluable.

Not only do you get the chance to talk to Eric and have him help with any obstacles you might be facing, all these wibinares become available for free once your a member of The Best Practices Course.

The other benefit I'm finding is being able to download the coaching calls and store them on my mobile device, that alone is well worth becoming a member

Exciting news: I just opened up another ArchiCAD training lesson you can watch free during my Best Practices Course Open House.

Due to web server issues, many people were not able to access the site earlier this week. Thankfully, it looks like we've got them resolved.

I'm extending the open house until Friday to make sure that everyone who is interested has a chance to watch these free ArchiCAD tutorials.

I've also opened up one more juicy lesson from the Best Practices Course for you to watch - my gift to you today.

Program Planning: Room and Area Lists using Fills and Zones

This 23 minute lesson shows how you can tabulate rooms and areas to compare against program requirements using either the Fill tool or the Zone tool.

The final section of this lesson shows some easy ways to resize rooms or entire building facades using the marquee tool. It is possible to take a concept that was sketched by eye and tighten it up so that specific or whole number dimensions are created.
