After drawing the marquee you do not have to "select all".

Just select "Show Selection in 3D".

Open Elevation view in 3D?

<R>Hi,

So I'm trying to render an elevation in 3D but I can't seem to open the elevation in 3D itself. I've already looked at 'Look perpendicular to' and Parallel projections but these don't give me the view I want.

Basically, I want to open the elevation view (attached) in 3D, in the exact same view as the elevation, no difference at all - very serious!

The reason for doing this is because I want to render the elevation so it looks less 'solid colours', as right now they seem flat even though I have shading and tried different settings, even overlying them in Photoshop.

Thank You

Use the orthagonal/isometric view in 3D, select side view and choose the direction desired. You will then need to section the building using the marquee tool or the cutting planes.

That works but I can only view one story - How can I use the marque and select 2 sorties? I've tried CMD + A on Home story and 1st story but I can view both at the same time?

Thank You

Check that you do not have Cut Planes Enabled.

Same Menu choose 3D Cutting Planes…

If that does not work and all layers are turned on and there is "rogue" SEO I have no idea what might be wrong.
