<T>I am updating some base plates on some steel columns, the new base plate
(a slab) shows in plan view but will not show in the detail drawing or any other drawing. If I select the base and "show selection in 3D", nothing.
I've check the renovation status, layer setting and they are all correct.
If I move it to the Archicad Layer, it shows up.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

I wonder if it is interacting with another element. Have you checked the Layer Intersection Group Number of the layer the base plate is on? Try changing the number in the layer settings to see if the base plate appears.
You nailed it! Thanks. I keep forgetting about the layer intersection, that's the second time I've done that. Maybe I'll remember from now on. Thanks again.
