Recessed Traditional Sash Window Settings

I'm working on an old Georgian building and want to place a traditional sash window which has an historic reveal. However the reveal extends downwards from the cill to the floor, and although I can switch off the internal wall lines in 2D, I can't lose that section of wall below the cill in 3D. Can anyone help with the settings I need or do I have to carry out a solid element operation to remove the unwanted piece of wall?

Can't you put your window in a thin wall that is as wide
and high as the outside trim width and height then set
this thin wall into a thicker wall with an empty opening
the dimension of the thin wall. Please see attached image
of the interior side of the wall and window.

Perhaps even easier, is to use a wall niche and insert
the window into the niche.

Easier still:

Use a standard (INT) library window like W Double Hung 12 and toggle on the Parapet Wall Inset parameter.

This will do exactly what you are looking for and allow you to control it using the library part.

Voila!
