topic Floor Plan Cut Planes in Modeling

<T>I am trying to change the cut plane of my floor plan. I have used the 'floor plan cut plane' tool, which does successfully adjust the plan. However when I change floor and the return to the original, the cut plane has defaulted back to the original cut plane.

How do i stop this from happening and keep my floor plan with a custom cut plane?

Many thanks,
Emily</T>

Emily, I'm not sure if this thread is useful but have a look. It refers to a possible bug in the AC 10 template:

Hi vistasp,

Thankyou for your response. That thread was helpful, and I have been able to figure it out:

As I am working in our office template, these settings over-ride the required floor plan cut plane. To get around this, you must right click the storey and select 'view settings'. In this box you can go to the Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings dialog box and insert your required value.
This will ensure the cut plane stays at the required value when switching between storeys.

Thanks,
Are you navigating via the View Map? FPCP settings are stored with views, so it could just be they are changing back to the settings stored with that view?
