What version of AC are you using? Having your AC version, operating system and basic hardware in your signature helps you get better answers on this forum.

In the meanwhile, have a look at this thread. Essentially, from AC 12 onwards, the GE connection addon brings in the terrain and snapshot as an object instead of a mesh. You may, therefore want to first create the snapshot in 11, save it as a module and then import that into your project.

<T>Hi all,

I'm trying to use google snapshot for my project's terrain but Archicad opens it as a GDL object and I can do nothing on it. I mean I want to use it as a mesh.

or can I make a mesh with using this object? I tried to trim a mesh with the object but it didn't work.

I need this information ASAP. So if you can help me, I'll be so appreciated.</T>

I'm using Max Os X operating system and AC 13, 14 with it. I think I'll keep the Google Earth terrain as an object and use the SEO and OBJECTIVE opportunities on it. I think I can solve the things out with these stuffs.
