topic Display individual story markers in elevation/section? in Modeling

<T>Before I start, I walked into the middle of this job and wasn't involved in the initial setup, so disregard the mess that produced my problem. We have two separate buildings in the same teamwork file, mostly identical, just situated differently on the site in both plan and elevation. This resulted in a duplication of stories within the file, some for Building 1 and some for Building 2.

What I'd like to do is have sections & elevations for one building that do not display the irrelevant stories for the other building, and vice versa. So I'd essentially be hiding half of the stories (every other one, if you will).

I know how to toggle them on and off within each view, and I know how to toggle an individual story display off project-wide. I do not see and haven't been able to figure out how to turn just some off in one view, and not another.

In (bad word alert!) Revit, Levels were physical planes that you could crop down to a range in plan, so that they only displayed in views that cut that area. I don't know of a way in Archicad to accomplish this from either logical end. If anyone knows, please help!</T>

Unfortunately, it is as you stated: you can either turn off all Story Levels for any given Section/Elevation Viewpoint in the Section/Elevation Settings Dialog, or you can turn off any given Story Level for all Section/Elevation Viewpoints in the Story Settings Dialog. There are no other options.

This would make a good wish because I agree, Viewpoint-specific control of Story Level instances would be nice.
