<T>Hi,

I am using ArchiCAD SE 2010 and working on a house project in Scotland. The house has a room in the roof, i.e. the middle of the house has 2.5m headroom and the edge of the house has 1.5m head room.
Is there a way I can automatically calculate:
- area of the floor
- calculated area of the floor with 1.8m headroom or more

I have tried trimming the zone but it simply resets the whole room height to 1.5m or 2.5m.

Thanks in advance.
Matt</T>

A friend got back to me with an email, fixing the problem. What I wanted was to subtract the roof space using a 'solid element' operation to create an irregular shaped volume.

Thanks for your help.
