I came up with that problem before too with transparency windows in elevations and sections, and had not found a solution for for that, untill today, you came up and save us.

<T>All of a sudden, the windows in my project have become transparent so that interior details show up on the elevations and sections, thus producing some very confusing looking drawings. I assume this to be a global setting somewhere in the project preferences, but I can't locate which setting it is. Any suggestions?</T>

Check "Transparency in Shading" in the 3D window settings.
Set it to off.
Forgive my ignorance, Peter, but where do I find the settings for the transparency function?

To be completely accurate for you,
I need to know which version of AC
you are using.
In AC 10 go to View->3D view mode->3D window settings
and look in the lower left area of the dialog.
Look for a button labeled "Transparency in Shading".
I believe I am encountering the same problem, but my issue is in ELEVATION only. I checked the setting Peter suggested, and it is set to "off". The weird part is, it looks fine in my view, but when I go to the layout book, my windows are see-through.

Any other ideas? I am using ArchiCAD10 and have Windows XP Pro 2002.
