Hiding contour lines created by SEO

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered, but unfortunately I don't have time to research this and a quick look on Google failed to answer my question.

Anyways, I created a dome with the profile manager but the curvature shows up as lines in elevation as per the attached screen cap.

Is there a way to hide that or prevent it from happening?

I really appreciate any answers, especially quick ones.

AFAIK, no. I use a white fill to mask the lines.

That is one of problems of the profile manager, it takes splines and turns them into line segments. Very annoying.

That's what I though. If the pitch is steep enough I use the cone + sphere together and slightly sink the cone into the sphere and there is no line but it's very limited in usefulness.
