Zone is not calculating the ares properly

Some how my ZONE tool is marking 2 Sq.Ft. in every space I place a zone stamp.

I already try to UPDATE ZONES but nothing changes.

Any idea what is going on here? Tks.

Well... Now the bathroom got calculated right and the bedroom got labeled as having 3Sq.Ft ?!!.... I don't understand what the problem is in here... any idea

Did you update the zones?
Can't see the zone edges (not selected) to see if it might be some other problem.

Try selecting "Show Measured Gross Area" instead of "Show Calculated Area" in the zone stamp settings of the zone. (I don't know the exact difference between them, but i have encountered the same problem and solved this way.)

Yep, even after updating zones it still showing 3Sq.Ft.

P.S.: By the way, this is the same file I am having problems with the Section Markers not showing the Lay Out Book page... Do you think this can be some source of file corruption?....

I used 2 different construction methods for the Zone Stamp: MANUAL and INNER EDGE.

In INNER EDGE all areas are 3Sq.Ft.

In MANUAL the Measured Area it is right but the out put area stills showing 3Sq. Ft.

Fransole,

first please check the standard of zone measurement, required in USA. If your standard don't required to add doors and windows open space do zone measurement, please go to ArchiCAD menu (I see that you are working on the MAC platform), next Project Preferences, Zones and uncheck add wall's niches area to zones (I don't know how exactly that mean in the US version) - two first choice squares.
Now, zones will be working prefect.
