topic Disappearing Model in Modeling

<T>I've been working in a model for a couple of weeks now - and it's been fine.

However, the last time I went to regenerate the elevations and sections they mostly disappeared. Only about 20% of the model is showing - and only walls with some windows. No columns, slabs, beams, meshes or objects.

I've attached an image showing before and after. It won't generate properly in 3d either...unless (and this is the interesting part) I marquee part of the model - then that part will generate fine.

- I have the latest patch for ArchiCAD
- I've reopened the file
- I've restarted ArchiCAD
- I've rebooted my computer
- I've opened the file on another workstation
- I've opened a different file to see if the problem was file-specific (it is)

I don't know what to do - and as usual, I don't have the time to do it all over.

Your help would be appreciated.</T>

I managed to track it down to one wall. ONE WALL!!!!!

It was a wall that had been in the model since I received it, so I don't know why it suddenly decided that it wasn't going to play the game, but there you go.

A very productive use of my time.

Hey.

You got that Superman logo.

Remember when he made time go backwards to save Lois Lane?

Do that.

I've had that same problem - more frequently. I simply "nudge" the section line by 1/16" of an inch and all views restore themselves.
