<T>Hi Folks,
Am just early stages with making a model, and am using SEO's to cut the wall head height to the correct height, I have done this many times before without hitch, but for some reason this time I am having problems.

I usually use a separate layer called SEO for the cutting objects, and use beams to cut the walls...but this time round, as soon as I place a beam to do the cutting it already looks as if an SEO has been performed automatically...as you can see from the attached, the SEO object is cut away from the wall that it shold be cutting...what is happeneing here?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers in advance.
Beams automatically interact with / subtract themselves from walls and slabs. There are settings for beam-wall intersection behavior, but the easiest is to have the layer intersection priority number for your beam layer be different (higher/lower does not matter - only being different matters) than the layer intersection priority number for your wall layer. Then, the beams will not pre-subtract themselves from the walls and your SEO will work fine.

Cheers,
