Why not download the INT version if English is a better option?
It won't affect the plans that you produce.
Use drag or verschieben in your screenie instead. It will automatically use the center point of your arced wall.

Hi Ian,

You can't use the rotate (Drehen) option for openings in a curved wall. Use the 'Drag' (Verschieben) option instead when using multiply as Erwin suggests. For anything else though (i.e. columns), you will need to use the rotate (Drehen) option.

If you select the 'Aufteilen' method with 'Abstand' set to 8, it will do you 8 copies plus the original. 'Aufteilen-1' will do 7 copies plus the original making 8 altogether.

Do a search for 'Multiply' on the English language version of the ArchiCAD online help for full instructions -
thanks a million guys.

this morning i got it to work for the first time... yippeee.

So.
1. the drew a big circle.
2. then i drew a small circle on the bigger circle line.
3. selected the small circle and clicked MOVEMENT - MULTIPLY
4. selected rotate.
5. back on plan, i drew a line from the centre of the big circle to the centre of my little circle.
6. then moved the new circles around 360.

see graphic below.
