Bug warning - zoom in bitmap in section

I've got a consistently repeatable bug - when i place a bit-mapped 300 dpi tiff image with the Figure tool in a section view, if i try to zoom in, Archicad (build 1010) crashes. In this case it's severe - it stops me from working in 3D the way i want. The bug is left over from previous builds.
Edited: Zoom Area Tool (magnifying glass with plus sign) crashes. Scroll wheel zooms work, it seems.

man, I NEED it. I've already sent six or seven bug reports to GS, the last with only the word f*ck in it!
A big part of my work is existing buildings. We need to be able to scan and integrate existing paper drawings with the AC model. Not just on the floor plan!
However much I like modeling, I can't say to my clients I know that it takes longer but you'll have to pay for it just because it's fun!

I feel for you. Good luck getting it fixed as unfortunately I wouldn't think this is high on the priority list.
Does it occur with other file types (PDF?)

Well, maybe I have to apologize... I don't know... I guessed something was wrong with the scanned bit-map tiff file (which ws edited in Photoshopo), so I re-scanned it with simplified settings, and skipped the Photoshop stage. Now it works!
If someone from GS is reading this, send me a note and I'll e-mail the pln and the tiff in question.
