topic Views Maximised in Modeling

<T>When I first open a saved view it opens the window Restored Down (i.e. not maximised, not minimised, but the other one). So I've got in the habit of opening all my views, maximising, then going back and double-clicking on those same views to get to the desired zoom.

I have noticed that occasionally the window will open maximised. How do I set this to the default?</T>

I see you asked a question like this once before here, and never got a reply. Better luck with this one.

I seem to remember someone saying that if you maximise windows (I assume you mean like live Sections and Elevations) they are not saved with the view, but if you stretch them as big as you can within the screen and redefine your view, next time you go to the view it will be this larger (albeit not quite maximised) view.
What makes me think it's possible is that it sometimes does it itself (well, apparantly by itself, but I must do something different).
