AC16 3D window goes blank

Just installed the new AC16. Then opened a file that was created in AC14, updated in AC15. When I bring it into AC16 and update it all of the information is there. When you go to work in the 3D window the screen goes blank. I can move my cursor around and if it hits an objects hotspot I can see the outline of the object. I have to close the window and reopen it to regenerate the 3D model each time I make an edit.

I have reinstalled the software a couple of times but it has not made a difference. I have AC16 working on an similar machine and it does not have the this problem.

Any suggestions?

12 gb ram
2TB HD
