Ah, for some reason if you have the "custom" box checked (for "Show on stories") it does not display the cover fill. I switched that to "all relevant stories" and it shows.

Is that intentional? I don't see why.

Cover fill for roof - not working?

<T>So I've created a roof in AC 17, selected the "Cover Fill" box in the settings, and no fill shows up. I go into AC 16 and do the same, and it immediately shows up. I can't think why this is happening.... checked my model view options and renovation filter settings. Any ideas?</T>

Can anyone confirm that the cover fills are working for them?

Cycle through the floor plan display options, you should get it to show up.

Custom is designed to allow you to exert greater control over the display of the roof cover fill and also the roof outline. You can choose to show the cover fill on your story of choice. Very very handy.

[EDIT] added this image for anyone who hasn't looked into these before.

OK now try and align the fill (Use Fill from Surface) to the eaves in plan 3D and elevation if the eaves are not parallel to the ridge and you want the fill direction to be at right angles to the eaves.
