Hi Tim,

What would you like the roof to do? It's not clear what is happening in your picture.

It would also be useful to show a plan of the roof with the pivotlines displayed.

Practically I wanted to create a slope but for some reason they didnt line up, smaller piece is below the main roof. why is there no tool that creates rood from sketch lines, instead of me using polyroof and then adjust to see this mistakes.

Here is the plan for better understanding what Im trying to achieve.

It looks like all you need to do is change the pitch of that smaller bit of roof so it joins correctly.

In the 3d window, click on the very top node, then select the 'Adjust Roof Slant Angle' button in the pet palette, then just snap to the corner node of the main roof. You may need to temporarily adjust the smaller roof so it is lower as it could cover the node you are trying to snap to.

The reason they don't join up in 3d is because the hip line isn't at 45degrees on plan.

No go. it needs to be rotated. but i cant find a tool that would do that.

I still don't really understand what needs to line up with what! Can you show a more descriptive 3d view with what you need sketched on it perhaps?

Where is the pivot line for the main roof on plan? Which direction is it pointing?

How about creating that piece of roof directly in 3d? See Peter Devlin's post for more explanations (skip the "temporary roofs" part):
