<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>I use archicad with large screens - 24" at home and 27" at the office. The 27" screen has enough space to show drawings at full A3 size - whilst leaving the ususal perimeter toolbars, navigator, etc, in place. When I have an A3 drawing in the layout view, and select 'Fit in Window' it does not fully fill the screen space. Why not? What do I need to adjust to show the A3 at full size?</T></DIV>

Have you tried, first doing a "Fit to Window" then performing a "Select All" in your layout or in your master layout to see is an element is lurking around the perimeter of your sheet? Just a thought.
