Keyplug upgrade

I am installing ArchiCad 10 on Mac OSX.4 on a G4 Powermac 450.
When I try to load the webpage to upgrade my keyplug, I get a message in the left hand bottom corner that reads
"Start: applet not initialized."

Can you tell me what to do in order to initialize the applet?

Two things to Verify:
1) Using Safari
2) Key plugged in

Try a reboot and verify that you have Apple's latest Java upgrade. That Applet missing might be a problem with Java which is installed under Applications ->Utilities, which the reboot might cure.

Since the keyplug is platform-independent, you might try to update the key on another computer, or even using some Windows PC.
