Beam section line colour

Hi all,

can anyone tell me how to change the beam section line colour? Why is that option greyed out?

Hi Laszlo,
Is this in the Beam settings dialog box under Plan and Section? There is nothing there for me to check.

This is what I meant.
This option appears if the Beam is a complex structure.

Hi Laszlo,

the beam is just a simple rectangular one. There is no option to check in the Settings dialogue. Does this mean that this is an option only for conplicated beams?

Yes, this option applies to Complex Beams.

in my case what is the solution? Change all beams to complex beams?

Can't you use this dialog box? It works for me.
Simple regular beams sections...

well, just make sure you are using the right tool, or restart AC.
That kind of thing happen when I'm doing something slightly wrong.
Like not selecting the right options in section view, or something like that, or maybe a glitch in AC.

Oddly enough redrawing the beams resolved the trouble
