Yes...twas the renovation filter (while in 3D mode) as found via "Document / Set Renovation Filter" which was set to existing rather than new construction as was required in order to match the renovation filter in the view settings for the drawing. Must have inadvertently changed it while sleep walking since the 3D window was working.&lt;BR /&gt;
Anyway, thanks for the help !&lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>3D Window does not work</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;When I select the 3D window (going from 2D to 3D) all that I get is an editing plane (with x,y,z axis) but no 3d representation of the building. Can someone please advise ?&lt;BR /&gt;
Am using ArchiCAD 16.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
