Just as a test: does you file speed up if you delete that facade?
Just to make sure it is really that element that is causing the slowdown.

<T>i have just added a simple glass facade to the outside of my storey building.
now my computer is almost crippled with slow performace ?

i would enver think only a glass facade would do this.
I now have the model in wireframe view mode and it still kills the system ?

any ideas guys.
I find that ArchiCAD can handle tremendously complex models. I just finished some work on a 3M sf building modeled in considerable detail. Though I continued my typical practice of using the marquee for best performance, when viewing the entire building it was still fairly quick.

Unless your model is particularly large and complex or your computer especially slow I'm guessing there's something amiss with the cladding. Hard to guess what without more info.
