If you WANT the modules to store attributes, you can use .pln files and hotlink directly to them instead of using .mod files.

<R>When I create mod files from the host, my pen sets don't show in the new module file.Is there a way to assure this? Also , is there a way to import pen set from one file to another or the only way is to use the same template at the beginning...I'm trying hard , no success yet... </R>

MOD files are "dummy" PLNs that do not store unused attributes. The attributes that "show" in a MOD file are the attributes of the previously opened file.

Import Pen Sets via the Attribute Manager, although your MOD will read the attributes of the host file, so it's not necessary to import them into the MOD.
