    <description>You could also place a little piece of wall and place an real window in it.  The wall only needs to be big enough such that you can CLICK a window into it.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;If we make a objects in for example Cinema4d that should be wall in ArchiCad.&lt;BR /&gt;
How do we place windows and doors in this 'wall'?  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Freestanding doors / windows isn't possible in ArchiCad.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Do we have to cut holes with SEO, then place a wall in same size that our door/window is? &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Or how do you do?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Of course freestanding windows can happen in Archicad. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Select any window in the plan view.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
"Save Selection As" an object.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You need to jig a symbol, but there it is, floating in space.&lt;BR /&gt;
