how can I use a continuous rail ? I mean instead of each segment...
to creat a continuose rail that connect perfect in the corners....how?

You are going to need to be more explicit.
What kind of rail ? stair rail ? guard rail ? railroad track rail ?

I working on AC v.11

all I need is to "draw" a rail (my parameters as height,gaps etc that I define) the same as I draw a wall !!!

can I do that ? why does it come with segments? I want it to be continuous !
I am talking about only rail !!! paraphet ! not stairs....

The answer to your question is to investigate "Complex Profile" where any shape can become a wall profile - like handrails.

Are you trying to draw a parapet wall that is curved in plan and
is not made from a chain of straight segments ?
If so, you can use the wall tool with the curved geometry method.
I am sorry, I obviously don't understand what you want to do.

Peter what is unclear? I have a balcony ,alright? I need a paraphet with columns !!! not a wall 110Cm....paraphet made of wood...metal whatsoever...I need to draw the paraphet along the balcony contour continously...

but it should be soo simple..can`t I make it with "element" : "rail"?
is that complicated?

I found there my rail profile just it makes segment instead to be continuos.

Archicad is not that simple apparently.

Maybe I'm not understanding either, but what is wrong with the standard railing objects.

From image below,

1 - in object tool I searched used the Find Library Parts option...
2 - searched for "rail" and got lots of options.
3 - picked one from the standard library that has lots of variables
4 - you can set sizes, gaps, end cuts etc

Place one on your plan and stretch length to suit, and there is a curved variant too.

Your photo clearly shows vertical bars, and my image shows an option for horizontal as well (Railing Horizontal 11). Calm down, open your eyes. This is the easy bit.

u can even see the horizontal ones in s2art's screen shot... most of the vertical ones even have a horizontal option with them... just look in the objects parameters. theres dozens of options and variants for each rail

it is not difficult.

choose railing horizontal/ vertical

then you choose the third/ fourth geometry method

then for the linkage between railing, you have to set cutting angel of the railing in the parameter

below is the geometry method u should choose

u can edit the angel in end cuts

u can rotate the object before u start, in the top right corner

but the modeling logic is different from what u 've learnt from traditional CAD
