Problems publishing as .pdf after installing updater.

We keep running into problems with the updater and making .pdfs. The updater version that was available when we bought 10, made it so that we could no longer publish .pdfs. It would go through the motions, say that it had saved files with various, appropriate sounding kbs. and then, when you opened the actual .pdf that was made, it was zero kb and acrobat said it was corrupt. so we uninstalled all of archicad 10, reinstalled and waited patiently for another update. Updater 10.1010 causes the same problem. Is anyone else encountering this or have any ideas? THanks!

we are running mac 10.4.6 on Power Mac G5.
