Is Graphisoft ****ing with us? The elevations of the doors and windows when placed in my door and window type schedules are not to scale. They are not even to scale with each other! I have two window types which are both 5'-8" high, yet are graphically different sizes in the schedule.

Someone needs to work on the WYSIWYG of the interactive schedule window--jeeze I feel like I've wasted hours resizing windows. Is the Graphisoft design team working with their heads in the ground?

I have many issues with Vectorworks wacky non-intuitive 3D interface; however, the schedules were soooo nice. Take a look at <S></S>http://download2.nemetschek.net/www_movies/vw12/WorksheetFormat.htm, not quite fully interactive both ways, but beautiful.

The IS has been like that for a while.

See, I'm not the only one who thinks VectorWorks has some cool stuff in it!

There is a trick with the IS to get the elevations proportional to each other. If you make the cell large enough they will all grow to their proportional size and no more. This may also be to some scale but I don't recall. I haven't used it for this much since most firms I have worked with want dims and notes on their door and window type elevations.

You should resize the cells so that the largest window or door fits it at the desired scale.

Then all is well.

Dimensioning the schedule placed on plan is also not a problem at all.

Graphically, the problem is if you have large roll up warehouse doors, let's say 7m high (as I usually do ...) because all the other stuff gets dwarfed and the schedule looks funny, although it is correct.

Actually I think the problem is if you combine a door and a window or string three windows together the schedule is a mess.
Otherwise I like the IS albiet it is slow. v 10's live schedules sound good.

Yep, that is what I do. Seprate for the large stuff, separate for the smaller stuff.

None of my 10 projects yet came to that ... although I hope they will! <E>😉</E>
